HOW TO INSTALL OUR STRAP
Step 01: Prepare The Strap And Hand Winch
Ensure you have the correct hand winch that matches our strap, we recommend for 1600LBS Capacity or more hand winch. Securely mount the hand winch on a stable surface or suitable anchor point. If there is other strap attached, simply screw the bolt out to take it off the winch first.
Step 02: Thread Our Strap Through The Hand Winch
Take the our strap and locate the designated opening or slot on the hand winch where the strap should be inserted. Typically, this opening will be clearly marked or indicated in the winch's manual.
Step 03: Secure The Strap With The Bolt
Now, take the bolt provided with the hand winch (or the appropriate bolt that came with the strap), and insert it through the loop on the end of the strap. Make sure the bolt goes entirely through the loop, ensuring a strong and secure connection between the strap and the hand winch.
Step 04: Winding The Winch Handle
Carefully grasp the winch handle with your right hand and start winding it clockwise, causing the strap to smoothly wrap around the winch drum; maintain consistent tension as you wind, ensuring the strap aligns properly to prevent any twists or snags; exercise caution to avoid over-tightening.

It is a nice winch strap with a very heavy duty snap hook. I put it on my 2 speed hand winch and it seems to be stretching a lot before it pulls my boat onto the trailer. Hopefully it will pull as hard as a steel cable…eventually.

I bought this for a 23' bay boat. It is all they say, very strong with big hook, but it did not work for me. The hook is so large it hangs up in my winch mounting. I've used it twice so far and both times I've had to use a pry bar and pair of pliers to get it unstuck from my mounting. Took me ten minutes to get it loose. I've ordered a replacement strap with a smaller hook. My fault, for this reason I'm not returning it and giving it 5 stars. it is an excellent product; I wish it were available with a smaller hook.

Buyer be aware, this strap may not fit into your winch. Yes this strap has great strength, but it achieves this rating by being double layered,,,nothing wrong with that except it makes the strap more bulky.A 20' strap actually needs the storage capacity of a 40' strap.Even though I cannot fit this strap onto my winch, I'm still keeping it for use as an added length pull strap.I rated the strap low as a winch replacement strap, however it is a high quality strap for general use.

This strap was well worth it's money. It will fill the winch drum to the top of most winch so I would hope in the future they may make one about 6 feet shorter but over all fantastic product no complaints. Absolutely no worry about any part of the strap breaking

This is very good solid product. My hand winch is 1800lbs for 21ft boat - NOT fit (run over, even though not too much) due to thickness. I have to return it. I still give 4 stars review because the quality is good, solid. If you have bigger winch for sure considering it!
