Place the coco coir brick in a large container that can also hold at least 3+ gallons of water.

Add 1 to 2 gallons of water and let sit for 1 to 2 hours

Scrape off the wet coir then flip the brick, add more water if needed. Repeat until fully expanded

You can add any soil additives or fertilizers of your choice and mix them into the coconut coir
pH Neutral:
Unlike peat moss, which can be acidic, coco coir is near pH neutral, which makes it a versatile growing medium for a variety of plants.
Reusable:
Coco coir can be reused if properly maintained and prepared for reuse.

These bricks are great for bulking up garden soil so that the soil doesn’t get packed down and unable to absorb water. They do a good job.

I really liked this product. It arrived wrapped and compressed in a square. Following the instructions, I used a wheelbarrow to add water to it until the square was completely mixed with the water. For me it was a lot and exactly the amount I needed. I didn't measure the area I was working with at the time but it was exactly the amount I needed. I love the fact that I did not have to go out and try to carry heavy bags of soil for my gardening project. I really don't have any dislikes to this product at the time. So far it is working really well for my seedling trays as well. The seeds seem to germinate well. I will continue to purchase this product for sure.

Bought this to bed the seeds for my microgreens, hydrate it and watch it grow, I ended up using way more than I needed to. Quality product, great price and something I will use and buy again!

Product expanded really good. The process of spreading after adding water took a bit longer than I expected but the volume increased (3 times its original size). 3 of the 4 bricks I bought were easy to use but the 4th was king of hard to spread with water. In all, product was satisfying and clean.

Love this Coconut coir as it aids in root development. Placed a few leaves that usually take a week to develop roots and in two days roots were visible. Retains moisture and it does not get over saturated. Bought 1 pack and immediately purchased 2 more. Will definitely recommend.

I use coir as the desicant in my marine composting toilet. I found this brand to easy to flake and crumble. It contained almost no fibers which is fine for aeration but useless for absorption. The weight was true and resulted in substantially more usable product than comparable coir blocks I've used over the years.

Absolutely worth the bang for the buck!!! I ordered 4 bricks thinking I was going to need all 4 for our porch plant experiment. We did 9 porch boxes with one brick and still had left overs!!! We are very well pleased so far!!! Very easy to use and love the fact we are helping the environment and not putting weird additives into our seeds! Very pleased with this experience!!! Thank you!!!

Exactly what it says it is. It was nice and clean didn't find any weird bits in it, it was shredded evenly. Used it for reptile enclosures, completely satisfied with the result.

When the brick was soaked in water I was surprised how little coir there was. Far too expensive for the amount received.

The quality was good 4 of out of 5. It had a good moisture retention and not lot of debris although it did had a little bit of a smell. However, make sure you have a big enough container I have a 21 l container and I had to soak the part that I was going to use and cut the rest

I was amazed how compacted this is!! Trick is to soak it for a while in wanter. If it isn't perfectly wet and absorbed, it'll be hard and messy to separate!!I used this in a soil mix. Very happy with the outcome and I will be buying again in the future.
