It is a nice way of mounting your phone on your body. If your eyes are letting you read without reading glasses, you can use it for hands-free reading.When recording, the video is fairly steady as long as you do not move too much. When moving about, the phone starts swaying with left-right action.Because your phone is hands-free, viewing your favorite cat or hamster videos is very satisfying.It would have been appreciated if it had a quick release clasp instead of having to unthread the chest strap to take the contraption off.

Inside the box, all the pieces come in separate smaller packages. Overall, the unboxing felt premium and I'm impressed.I'll start with the fill light—it's surprisingly nice and functional. It's USB-C rechargeable, has separate color temperatures, and adjustable brightness. The mounting is almost universally compatible. Verdict: good piece.Next, the actual neck phone holder—it's better than you might think, but not super comfortable without adjustment. The neck strap itself is like a rigid but flexible tripod leg, though more flexible than you'd expect. It's only slightly more rigid than modeling clay. You could use it to wrap around doorknobs to mount your phone camera if you desperately needed to. It's not so rigid that it takes a lot of strength to bend. However, it's rigid enough that I wouldn't wear it for high-intensity activities, even with the included stability strap. I actually don't see much use for the strap personally when filming cooking videos. The neck holder alone is quite stable for me. The rigidity can make your collarbone somewhat uncomfortable unless you adjust it to fit well beforehand. Verdict: Good.The last part, which I have mixed feelings about, is the actual phone holder mount. The attachment comes in one piece, but the phone holder uses a spring-loaded clasp which creaks when opening. This bothers me a little. Additionally, the adjustable joint between the clasp and the connector to the neckpiece has no locking mechanism, so I think this will wear out and become loose with repeated adjustment.Overall, the most surprising part of this kit was the soft flexibility of the neck strap. For the price, it's definitely a good value considering the additional fill light and Bluetooth camera shutter button... Actually, I forgot about the BT shutter. It wasn't my primary focus. It uses a CR2032 battery. Enough said.

This was very comfortable to wear. The coating on the wire plus the little cushion they put behind the mount anchor really do their job well. It isn't too heavy and stays put decently well, very well if you take the time to use the chest strap. Unfortunately it's very hard to put the chest strap on and off the way it's designed so I probably wouldn't do it routinely.The marketing point about using it for watching videos also was extremely unrealistic; it can't tilt to an angle with such a long neckstrap for you to view it while wearing. For video recording though it is very very good and I see it being great for action cameras.I wish the mounting point was universal instead of proprietary because I love this so much I identified that as a potential point of failure and hate the idea of not being able to replace the piece if it happens. This unit is a great size and value, I definitely recommend it. The selfie remote and very very nice rechargable color-adjustable cold-shoe-mount fill light were very nice accessories. I would have accepted the price without them included. The light could even be used on a dslr camera if you wanted because of the mount design they re-used for this. While used for it's intended purpose on this mount I was very happy to see it's designed so you can have the phone and fill light both attached and aimed in a complimentary direction. I was expecting you to make a choice of one or the other.
