Got a bunion or anything else that is making the shoes tight? I bought this set because I only needed one, but now that I have 2 I can do 2 shoes at once. It has little attachments to put on the problem areas (in this case for my big toe).I stretch the shoes and leave them for a week and they are all broken in!

I have two pairs and one of the plastic screws broke. Don't know what to do about that but I still use it . I put some packing in the toe area to make up for the broken screw

I bought these nine months ago and used them four times, and now I must replace them. They seemed a bit rickety from the start, but I attributed that to the fact that they were designed to expand and contract easily, so I wasn't very troubled by this. I should have been.The last time I used them (the 4th time), one of the stretchers got jammed in the open position and cannot be budged. In case you may be thinking that I over-tightened the handle, I should mention that I am a 70-year-old woman (and the stretcher was in a pair of shoes at the time), so if I could over-tighten it, I cringe to think of what an athletic young man could do...I'm sorry to say these shoe stretchers are simply not sufficiently well made to do the job for which they were intended.Update: As you may have surmised from the above review, the stretchers were well outside the return window when they failed. My bad for not giving them a a good testing during the first month. I bought a second pair after the first pair failed, and I am having the same/similar issues with them. I didn't intend to buy the same brand, but there are about a dozen of these offered on Amazon and they all look exactly alike. My guess is they are all sourced from the same manufacturer and sold under different brand names.Learning from my past mistake, I tried them out as soon as I received them. One of the stretchers jammed and locked in the open position (just as the previous one had), and the other opens up a little, but then just spins. I had this second set for only a week and they are now going back. I'm still looking for a decent pair of shoe stretchers, but I won't be buying this product again.

Bought the spray and are on our third try on stretching…durability of tool seems good..ability to stretch maybe not so much..tool is easy to use, pretty self explanatory.

Had to return.These stretchers appear fairly solid and I did tighten them quite tight.BUT one has a stripper internal nylon-plastic. So when I turned the center metal rod, to expand the wood halves to widen the shoe toes area, it just makes a popping sound.So unfortunately the maker used plastic or too small a plastic nut in this area.A chain is only as strong as its weaker link. The plastic nut is the weak link in these wood shoe stretchers.. Fail

I bought these to make my favourite shoes fit better. The shoes were too tight and a bit uncomfortable so I got these and they have made a difference. They stretch both length and width. They are very well constructed and robust. I’m happy to recommend them.
