The wooden gavel and block set has been a fantastic addition to our family dynamics. Used this in my speech class when I taught parlimentary procedure. It survived 9th graders who enjoyed "calling the meeting to order". I would buy again, but so far - no need. It is still in great shape.

I have this on my desk at school. I teach law studies and we use the gavel for our mock trials or just when I want to get their attention. It’s a fun prop for class and and some authenticity to the trial process. The kids love banging on when they’re the judge.

Medium-pitch impact sound. Base has some weight. Gavel is balanced well. Single purpose though; likely not sufficiently robust for construction, meat tenderizing, or other uses. Recommended for intended use.
