This little product saves me a ton of time and frustration in making my jam. Takes the mess off the jar so the lids seal tight. Easy to use. Dishwasher safe. Fits my 4oz jars just as well as my 16oz ones. So happy I found this product. And yes, it keeps your counter top clean too bc of the thoughtful design. Great value and versatility. Wide, deep, and easy to ladle into! No more slopping over the rim and threads of the jar, just the standard safety wipe before putting on the lid and ring. It only takes one paper towel per batch of jars, instead of a whole dishcloth.

This is wonderful for home canning operations. Headspace is often difficult to judge when filling jars and this helps solve that problem. Size is great, too, can fill both regular and wide mouth jars.

I try to live a frugal and simple lifestyle, and my kitchen reflects that. I prefer to have the equipment I need, balancing price and function, and generally ignoring aesthetics. Small things like measuring spoons, basic utensils, etc. definitely aren't fancy in my kitchen. Every once in a while though, you find a kitchen gadget that costs a few dollars more, but is worth every penny. This funnel is that kind of product, and I wish I would have purchased it sooner. I use it regularly, usually to pack quart canning jars with varieties of different soup for freezing. It's perfect for transferring everything from hearty chowders to stock into any size glass jar, regular or wide mouth. I was concerned about warping or melting from heat, since I usually funnel hot soups, but I've had no issues with it. The top of the funnel is large enough to accommodate my largest ladle, so there's less dripping. It's much less messy. My counter top stays clean, and the smart design prevents food contamination since the inner rim doesn't contact the countertop. The headspace gauge is accurate, and helps prevent overfilling, so no more mishaps from freezer expansion. Best of all, it's easy to clean, and doesn't have a bunch of hard-to-reach nooks and crannies to scrub. I've washed it many times in the dishwasher, top rack, with no problems. This is a must have item for anyone who cans, freezes or uses glass jars for any kind of food storage.

A good funnel is always a useful tool in the kitchen. This particular funnel has it good points. It does provide a stable funnel on top of a canning jar. The markings on the side help to determine the level of food or liquid in the canning jar. The level markings are clearly printed. However, I did not find it all that easy to view the liquid level in the canning jar. I probably consider this aspect of this funnel more of a sales gimmick than a real tool for using when canning.The funnel itself is like any funnel and performs its function adequately. It is definitely easy to clean. I found it dishwasher safe. Though you will need to set up upright in the dishwasher to avoid it collecting water in the process. I would put it only on the top shelf because it is made of plastic.The design of the funnel does give it a solid seat on top of the canning jar. The funnel will not be moving around during use which is good. The construction seems to be good. I have no real complaints about this funnel.If I had it to do over, would I purchase this funnel, probably not. Personally, I think I prefer the stainless steel wide opening funnels over this one. However, if you feel this funnel will work for you, then I have no problem recommending it.

This works for canning with both regular and wide mouth jars.It made pouring hot jams a breeze and cut the clean up time in half.

This funnel will fit securely on wide mouth and regular mouth Mason jars. It make filling Mason jars so much easier!!!!

This is without a doubt one of the most useful gadgets I have purchased. It fits perfectly and makes filling either the wide mouth or regular mouth mason jars a simple task. Cleans up easily by hand or top-rack dishwasher. If you use mason jars, you need this in your life.
