I just ordered this beater and I have not been able to use it just yet so I will be updating the review soon based upon the working performance. This review is in response to those who are talking about rusting issues. I have a few kitchen gadgets that would have a tendency to rust. Considering that this gadget is not 100% steel I would like to tell you that Cabelas makes a food grade lubricating spray. I use it on various kitchen gadgets as well as fishing tackle and so on. I keeps the rust away and creates a longer life. I did not expect this item to be top shelf considering that these beaters are kind of a thing of the past and people now-n - days dont like to do much manual hard labor LOL. My grandmother had one similar to this (of course made of complete stainless steel) and I had to have one. I make a ton of crepes and this will be perfect for a quick batter mix. I will update the review based upon performance in the next few days. Hope this helps

I love using this old-fashioned egg beater. I don’t always want to get out the electric beater so this is great to have. I had a hard time finding one in local stores including Walmart. Works great and love the color.

Are use this product to beat eggs. It mixes very well but I am concerned about longevity as it has plastic gears and handle. So far it’s been doing very well even through the dishwasher. I think it is well worth the money that I spent.

Yeah, no.This is a chintzy piece of pre-garbage is is going to break inside of a month of light to moderate use.First and biggest sin? Plastic gears with loose tolerance made from a brittle plastic. Handle made from same. I expect that if I didn't decide to return it shortly after handling it, something in the gearing would be the first bit to break.Secondly, all the metal on this is too thin and made from something that could only generously be labeled stainless. The edges of the beaters have rust on them after a single bout of hand washing. The forming of the frame and blades is also very poor, the unit I received had several sections that had either been poorly formed or bent to jam against one another.If you really need to lose the $15, you'd be better off putting it to the match or gambling on Bitcoin.

Works. Why wouldn't it. But it's flimsy and lightweight. Makes it hard to control even for something as easy as beating a couple eggs. The hand beater I'm replacing was top-flight for 20+ years. This one is enough to make me hope it doesn't last that long. I am not happy with this product.

We recently stayed at a friend's lakeshore home and my daughter had never seen one of these. She used it every chance she had and so I bought her one of her own. It's compact, sturdy, easy to clean and works well. Definitely recommend it

Finally, a hand rotary beater that I can actually use! Since getting into Dalgona coffee I've been getting sick of finding and cleaning my electric beaters, this one is perfect but also makes great fluffy eggs.The beaters are not as large as my mother's from when I was growing up, but this more than does the job.All moving parts are good quality, the beaters are appropriately aligned so that you can really whip a storm (in your tea cup, lol)The metal used is sturdy and did not get damaged during international shipping, my previous purchases of inferior versions did!
