My husband and I love it! It makes enough for two; it’s easy to use and clean and very few unpopped kernels! I also like the fact that it’s compact for storing as we don’t have a lot of space!

Oh my goodness we LOVE this cutie popper! It does all the work for you. Nonstick surface, add 2 tbsp oil, appx 1/3c oil (not butter) and make sure lid is off. Push power button on and let it do it's thing! Most popcorn popped, and once popping ends (its QUICK), turn off and pop lid on, then FLIP it over! TA-DA delicious popcorn every time. Only caveat is place it where you can easily wipe down the surface as a few drops of oil will escape the top while popping. You must leave lid off during popping, so a few oil splatter droplets will get through the grill type top. No biggie whatsoever to me. One paper towel swipe cleans. Will never eat airpopped popcorn again, and using avocado oil negates the need for butter..much healthier! HAND wash the bowl and lid, will last a long time..feels sturdy. Cook surface is a quick paper towel swipe. Highly recommend. Functional AND adorable!

Prior to this purchase I have owned two West Bend Stir Crazy poppers. The second one was not as good as the first and did not last very long, so I decided to try another brand. The lid/bowl of the stir crazy was really thin plastic and it cracked easily. The Presto popper lid is very sturdy with thick plastic. There is no stirring mechanism with the Presto, I recommend shaking the popper side to side a little while popping to get more even heating. The stir crazy stirring mechanism was not very good so I needed to shake the popper anyway to get a good batch. The stir crazy has a flaw in the design that oil will eventually get inside the mechanism and ruin the machine. The Presto popper is just a solid heating plate so that should not be a problem. I also find it easier to clean. Only time will tell but I expect this popper to last quite a while.

The size is perfect for 1-2 people. I bought pre-packaged popcorn (2.5oz). It does the job without setting off the smoke detector! Doesn't have a stir feature but the corn pops well. Quality is good and takes up very little space. 5 stars don't get read. 5555555!

This is a great popcorn maker. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Pops almost 100% of kernels. Makes just the right amount of popcorn for 2 people. Very happy with purchase.

Pops all your popcorn it may leave 3-5 kernels the most but it does an excellent job at popping your popcorn it comes out perfect, and delicious ! just make sure you follow the directions and it will last a long time and make sure you do not put the heat unit in the plastic cap until it’s completely cooled off and cleaned with a paper towel so I recommend this unit

Just what I was looking for. I previously had used a stovetop popper with a handle, but this one is so much easier. I use avocado or coconut oil and about a third cup of popcorn. The directions say that yellow popcorn works better (all kernels pop) than white popcorn, and they are correct. I’ve tried both. This makes enough for a couple of people, so if that’s all you need, this model is a great option. I also really enjoy the retro look of this popper.

I am very disappointed. It does pop popcorn but the kernels doesn't pop completely. There are more unpopped kernels, too. Its design allows oil to seep out onto the counter, making an oily mess. I suggest looking at a different product.
