They feature an adjustable tab to allow for best engagement of the door latch, and they are used to replace most interior and exterior residential latch strikes. This item includes fasteners and 2 strike plates per package. These plates measure 1-7/16 inch wide x 2-1/4 inch tall and have mounting holes 1-5/8 inch on center.

I needed this for my new door. I went to Home Depot and found a similar one, but it was not the black color I was hoping to get. I went on Amazon and found a cheaper one with the color that I wanted.
