It worked but had to grind down the thickness slightly. The screw head was also too thick to fit, so I had to use the original pan head screw. Overall it worked, but be prepared to make modifications for your specific application. The steel is strong but easy to drill and grind where needed. Make sure to measure how much overhang you need before drilling holes if the predrilled holes don’t line up.

A couple of months ago I didn’t even know this product existed. I started having problems with one of my windows which wouldn’t stay open.After careful inspection we figured out what was needed to repair the window and for a really minimal cost, we were able to do the repair ourselves. Window works again.

The pre-drilled holes did not line up to the windows I had. Had to drill new hole to match hole in window. But easy to drill and works fine after install.

Arrived quickly, and fixed the problem window. Older window needed only this small pivot bar. Now it's perfectly fine.

The screw on the bar is super hard to get in or out, unless using sort of screw/nail machine.is it ever been test for self use?Yeah, you could say me that do not have much strength to make it happen.Then it should mark as professor/specialist use only.Edit: Since it is the first review, even it is a criticism, i will make it 3 star, but actual review is 1 star for me.
