These springs will do the job. Be aware the coil is a smaller diameter than the spring you would buy at Lowes or Home Depot. I'm not saying that is a bad thing just smaller and maybe less resistance to pull. The cost is an attractive point, at about half the cost of those "bigger" springs. All said I would recommend this economical item. Durability and resistance to corrosion and rust is an unknown at this time.

This spring does the job of pulling my screen door closed. I cost less than $4. So 5 Stars.

Needed to hang the curtains, but I couldn't think of a way to use a regular curtain rod. So, I figured a series of springs would work since I could hook the spring to the shelving unit with just a bit of maneuvering, or use a zip tie to attach them. We went with both with the ends hooked directly and the middle, where 2 springs met, we used zip ties.These curtains are kind of heavy and these springs are working well.
