Your cart is empty.This is a 3 inch x 3/4 inch zinc mending plate. Dimensions are 3 inch in length and 3/4 inch width, and 14 gauge thickness. Ideal for reinforcing flat joints and seams or joining 2 surfaces together. It is constructed from stamped steel. Features 4 counter sunk mounting holes that will accept # 8 flat head countersunk screws (sold separately).

These have a decent thickness and the screw holes are countersunk. I have no way of testing the strength, but for my purposes they are perfect.

These are good and sturdy and saved my project! I measured incorrectly (yeah, I know) and didn't have room to add the trim to the top after I upholstered my headboard. These plates gave me the ability to add another piece of wood and get those few inches I needed without taking the whole thing apart and starting over! They have held up to the (heavy!) trim, and a move and still solid.

Thanks so much for offering these online especially with Coronavirus going around! These worked great for the crack I had to repair from a derelict worker who damaged my vanity cupboard. But the only draw back was that I had to purchase a package of separate screws from a different company as these didn't come with any. But, hey, maybe everything comes ala carte nowadays! What do I know about construction?! LOL! I feel lucky I figured out a way to repair my door without paying $250 to the construction company who damaged it in the first place!

These mending plates work very well. I bought them to connect Ikea cabinets together. So far, they seem to be perfect. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Good value, and great to have around.Used to hold the front panel on my washer/dryer closed, after the original mechanism broke.

Items arrived as expected. Little piece of plate with some beveled holes in it for screws. The plates were straight and clean, but it is worth noting that your screws will not fit exactly flush, depending on the screws used. I used exterior t-20 screws, and the screws do not sit flush. You wouldnt want to put this on the top of a table or a deck where walking or smoothness is concerned.
