Video is nice and helpful. Not sure there is much you need to get started other than this kit. Practice is what ya need more than anything, these calls will make everything from the right sounds to something that will scares cow so it's on you. Must say this is a beginner, so don't expect really great sound until you develop some skills.

The dvd did not work when I got the package. How I learned to use this product was off of youtube videos and I am still not exactly sure I am doing it right for the game I am trying to learn to call; fox. Once I watched the youtube videos, I got an idea of how to use the calls and started practicing. I stumbled onto something correct as I was able to call in a fox on 2 separate occasions. I would have given this rating as 3.5 if the system allowed because the dvd did not recognize in my system and others did so I know it is not my player. Without this, I don't have the proper knowledge or training to successfully call the animals I purchased this product for.

The calls sound awesome. The ones I had before were well over 10 years old and I didn’t realize how dull the sound had gotten. These new ones sound crisp and have led to the demise of many a coyote.

I’ve been using this call for years and decided to get one and the video for my grandson. He’s 5. He’s getting figured and pretty quick. It’s easy to use.

Don't really need a review, there are plenty on YouTube. The price is great here. Love all the Primo calls. Just a matter of finding them faster and cheaper.

I would give this 5 stars if it were a little more help in teaching a beginner how to actually produce the sounds. It makes a good attempt at it and does a fair job, but leaves a little to be figured out. It is entertaining and full of good hunting videos. I did learn how to get started, but not how to master the art. I called a coyote out of my woods within 5 seconds of the first call. But I didn't get it to come closer. This is an art and so takes some practice. It is useful to hear the various calls. It will be necessary to watch the video many times to get it down. So I'll do that. After the first two viewings I now have a nodding acquaintance with 10 or 12 different calls that I can reproduce to some degree. I would recommend this set.
