I’m new to watercolor so I’ve had a bit of a learning curve with this brush. I am left-handed annd all of the instructional videos that I’ve seen about how to use it are made by a right handed person. Nevertheless I have learned to make some very pretty petals with it. I like how I’m able to load the brush with two different colors as well. It’s well-made, holds a lot of water for the size and snaps right back into shape so I would definitely purchase it again.

I now have two of this exact same brush and may buy a third. It is my absolute "go to" brush for watercolor. I love the detail I can get with the fine tip and yet it has a large belly that hold plenty of paint and water. I absolutely love this brush!

When I first read the description of this brush and it said "Long" I dismissed it because I thought that meant it was a long-handled brush (and I prefer shorter handles). But when I read more carefully I found out that "Long" referred to the head of the brush, and more specifically to the tip. This brush is a size 12 so it holds a lot of paint and can paint broad strokes but with the longer tip it is capable of doing detail work and painting fine lines, almost as fine as a rigger brush (see photo).

The brush is a nice size for washes and fine detail. Holds a good amount of water and has a fine tip for details. Great for blending watercolors as well.

Fantastic brush! It holds a lot of water, hairs stay put, and is generally made very well. It feels good in the hand and is a go-to brush for me when I am painting with watercolor.

Ottimo Pennello, trattiene bene l'acqua,e ti permette di dipingere grandi spazi e linee sottili da 01 e forse anche meno,senza staccare il pennello dal foglio!Contenta di averlo acquistato!Avrei solo gradito una custodia un po'più rinforzata per conservarlo meglio, anziché la pellicola trasparente,per il resto tutto perfetto anche la spedizione....per favore fate con questa caratteristica anche i pennelli più piccoli!Grazie infinite!

Wow. I am 72 and have done a lot of watercolour painting throughout my life. Some time ago I decided I wouldn't use animal hair brushes for animal welfare reasons, in spite of the fact that most teachers I came across were recommending Sable brushes. A teacher I like just recommended this and it is AMAZING. The point is superb, the holding of a reservoir of paint also superb, handling all I could want. I know this will improve my paintings.

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten hab ich den Dreh jetzt einigemaßen raus. Für kleinere Bilder eher weniger gut geeignet (da Gr.12).
