I was first introduced to butter crocks from watching a well known chef that had her own product line. I decided I wanted to try one but at a more affordable price so I found this one on Amazon and I’m glad I did. So cute and practical and keeps butter fresh and soft while out on the counter. No more toast tearing apart from trying to spread hard butter. The whole family approves. Highly recommend.

I like the classy lines of this little dish and I love to have my butter soft and yet fresh. That’s the way the French butter keepers work. I ordered them for a number of people for Christmas.

The design, red color, and the quality of this crock is very nice. That being said, it's not very practical for my family. There are six people in my home and it's kind of a pain to put the butter in, clean it after it's empty, and refill compared to a butter dish. I didn't find that the water seal kept butter any fresher then a butter dish on the counter. It might be helpful for someone who doesn't go through butter quickly.

Love love love this! Don’t know why I waited so long to get one. Works brilliantly and you have soft butter whenever you want it! Won’t go back to margarine! It holds one stick of butter also.

It works! The only problem I have is it only carries 1/2 butter at a time. Always refilling it. Needs to be bigger

Glad I finally purchased a butter urn. Just set it up so I will see how it goes. I love the fact the butter is at room temperature. I won't be wasting butter now.

I already bought one 6 years ago and the two I bought are Christmas presents for my sons and their family. They always rave how fresh the butter is and for me it’s just like my French mom used to have on our table growing up.

It was a beautiful colour yellow but arrived not only broke but smashed . It was in so many pieces I only opened the box and closed it . Returned
