I have to say that it was very hard for me to find a Gi that fits well. Actually it will be almost imposibile. In this case I decided to go with ProForce which has the best price. Let me tell you this is an excellent Gi. I used it in both Judo and BJJ classes for 3 months now and is very good quality. The pants didn't break like other reviewers posted. That could also be because they are a larger fit on me but the material is lighter and let's you be flexible.I'm 5'10", 158lbs fit built. I first ordered a size 4 and I was floating in it so ordering a larger size not good. I then re-ordered a size 3 and this is much better. Pants are still pretty large but you can adjust that easily. The length is perfect. The top part is also good at the shoulders however after I washed it in cold water and air dried it the sleeves come pretty short now. This is actually good because the opponents can't grab your sleeve easily. Even the instructor said that is very smart.Highly recommend!

The top is thick and can get hot especially during randori but it is durable. The pants that come with this are horrible and over shrink. If you buy the pants alone they as sold on this site they are of much better quality. The weird thing is they are both Proforce's Gladiator line.

Great Gi. Well made. Good easy to wash material. I do however, recommend that you wash it on its own as it does have dyes that can potentially ruin your other clothes. My son loves wearing it. Good for the price.

Update... my son has used this gi for 3 yrs now with not an issue.on One of his pant legs the hem is loose by the foot but that is all that has been damaged..several tournaments and many many hours of training. I'm not buying the next size up for him. the My son is 5 and we have been using this for 5 months and we are happy with it. He is a tall and lean kid so the 000 is large on him. I have washed it and dried it and it hasn't shrunk as I had hoped. It is very durable. It is starting to fray on the sleeves and the shoulders but since this is where he is grappled the most it's understandable.

I have purchased ProForce Gladiator gis for all of my children. They are not are solid feeling as a higher priced Fuji or other brand, but they are perfect for children and practice. I personally own two of the Pro Force Impact double weaves as well, which are considerably thicker and I suspect will last me most of my Judo life ($40 each). I would highly recommend these for anyone looking to purchase for a child or for a low cost gi starting out/practicing.The unbleached gi is slightly yellow, but this is not really a bad thing. Also, the unbleached gi felt a little stiffer to me than the bleached ones. Make sure to check the prices for the various colors, they will usually vary on Amazon based on size and color and not always in a way that seems logical. Fit is a little trial and error based, though we have every size from 000 to 4 at our house... I usually end up guessing bigger than I needed. Expect some mild to moderate shrinkage if washing and drying on high heat.

My sons' coach told me what size to order, and I'm glad because I'd have had no idea. My 8 year old wears a size 7 / 8 (slim) and this fits perfect and will for at least a year or two. Great quality. Way thicker than I'd have expected!

This gi is coming apart after one use. I bought it for my four year old son and already the stitching on the pants is shredding after being worn one time. Not worth the money!

Bought a second gi for my 7 year old beginner. He loves the blue, and it fits great. He likes it better than his Fuji gi - that's probably because of the color. Several older (middle aged) white belts at our club use these and they are a great low cost gi for a recreational player.
