The well designed devices have two different versions, Pro XLR 1-in 3-Out (Support One pair XLR Female input and Three pair Male XLR Output) and Pro XLR 3-in 1-Out (Support Three pair XLR Female input and One pair Male XLR Output). To begin with the unit is made well, I have no qualms about it lasting, at least so far. Keep in mind this does not have phantom power. Every situation is different, the way I'm using this piece of gear is as such.. I have a 10 input audio interface which I used for my acoustic drums as well as other instruments. The problem is I have to constantly unplug some of my drum microphones in order to use those inputs to make my guitars, vocals, etc. with this unit I'm able to plug a couple of My drum microphones as well as guitar and vocal microphones into this and then into my audio interface and switch between them without having to physically connect and disconnect said microphones. In my specific situation I have to use outboard phantom power units to achieve this, but that's besides the point. You can use this unit in several different ways. It works like a charm for me, and I highly recommend it.

This XLR switcher works well and is straightforward to use. It feels well-constructed and introduces no noise to the signal since it is a passive design. I'm taking a star off because at the time of writing this exact product is available from other sites for about 2/3 of the price, and I don't know why they are charging so much here.
