Instructions were clear and the included recipe worked well - took 3 minutes to bake. Nonstick without spray. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Cone form is a little large and slippery. Ended up buying a wood form ($4). Cord is a little short (intentional per instructions) but workable and it stores on the cone maker. I love waffle cones and these were so good and so easy I doubt I’ll ever buy them again. Bowl option also worked very well. Great value for the money. Highly recommended it.

This waffle cone/bowl maker was a event specific purchase and I am quite happy that it is now in my small appliance arsenal. In preparation to host 16 for dinner with sundaes for dessert, my primary motivation was to avoid having to hand wash an additional 16 bowls. Yes, it is a bit OCD but honest. So I thought I could make some bowls and cones in advance and cut down on clean-up time. The cones and bowls were quite easy to make and were a big hit for the dinner guests as well as the clean up. The maker allowed for reasonably quick production of the cones and bowls and the bowl and cone molds were a helpful addition to ensure a high quality functional product. I would definitely recommend this maker for occasional use and though I did not use it constantly for any extended periods of time, suspect that it would perform well. For the price, it is worth a try and the cones will be far better than any ones commercially available with minimal effort.

The unit I got heats well except for the edge closest to the handle, where the batter is still raw at the end of recommended cooking time. I need to turn what I’m cooking 180 degrees to prepare thoroughly. It’s an easy ask for what I get in return, because oh my goodness is the enclosed recipe tasty! You’ll ask yourself why you settled for relatively unflavored sugar cones up until your first try at using this. You won’t settle ever again after tasting what you prepared yourself.
