I used this sander A LOT during the bodywork phase of my project when I repainted my car and I think I wore it out but it served its purpose and the price was right. It has a nice feel to it, a handy little dial and good power. It does use a lot of air. I only have a 15 gallon air compressor tank and it ran continuously to keep up. I had this sander in one hand with tough grit paper on it and my corded sander in the other with a finer grit that I used while the compressor built back up its air supply. This DA is a good value.

This sander works great and if I ever need another one, I will buy another one! I have seen some bad reviews on it, but I disagreed with them! It runs great for me!

I really like this DA sander! The body looks to be some kind of polycarbonate, so it's both lightweight and strong. I don't know how well it would stand up to commercial use, but plenty robust enough for home/hobbyist use.Because it's not super-heavy, I can use it for extended periods. Also seems really well balanced -- it oscillates like a good DA should and doesn't vibrate excessively like some low-end, out-of-balance sanders do. As a result I feel way less fatigue on the wrist, elbow, and shoulder compared to other hobbyist units I've used. One downside -- why I rated 4 stars for ease of use rather than 5 -- is that the way I hold the sander I sometimes move the air valve accidentally with my fingertip, changing the speed of the sander unintentionally. I'll probably shorten the valve lever a little bit to fix this. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.Pro tip: make sure your compressor can keep up, this sander can use a lot of air. And use high-flow fittings (I use the Milton V-style) to make sure you get the most out of this sander.

We've been using the Dynabrade brand for years and they cost like $170.00 each, they kept needed to be rebuilt as we found out they had plastic internals. These are MUCH lower cost and the internals are metal. My shop guys like them better then the Dynabrade tool we are replacing. Great buy.

I needed this for work and through Affirm I was able to purchase it, but when I used it I QUICKLY REALIZED THAT IT WAS A COMPLETE PIECE OF CRAP!!! I COULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE LOCALLY FOR THE SAME PRICE BUT A 1000 TIMES BETTER QUALITY, EVERY TIME I STOP SANDING I HAVE TO RE ADJUST THE SPEED .... DO NOT BUY THIS SANDER!!!!!!

This item was used prior to me buying it. It had dust in between the inlet and outlets. It wouldn't work at all. I spent over an hour trying to figure out what was wrong. Gave up and will not buy again.

It's hard to set speed and maintain it.
