The attachments have no lock so they don't stay on, but for doing close shaving it worked well and quietly for about 9 groomings. Now the blades are dull. For the money that was a good deal though.

I really like this clipper, it is stronger and quieter than either of the corded ones I've used in the past. This easily cut through my golden doodle's thick hair. The resulting cut is even and without steaks, no need to go back over it again. On a full charge the battery was down to 75% after completing my medium sized dog.I really like this and wanted to give 5 stars but I have two issues, one minute and one major. The minor issue is 1/2 inch is the longest guard, I would like to have a 5/8" or even 3/4" for grooming. Maybe I can buy them separately. The major issue is the guards falling off. The guards slide on with no positive retention. I had them fall multiple times while using, the slide fit needs to be tighter or have some kind of positive retention. It's not bad enough to stop using it, but now I have to pay close attention to this while grooming.

I really wanted to love this trimmer set since it's wireless and it comes with a good variety of trimmer guards, it hold a good charge and performs a good while, the trimmer blade is sharp, and the device is pretty lightweight and comfortable to hold, but unfortunately the quality was poor and I couldn't get passed using it properly for the first time.I was set on using a specific trimmer guard and in the process of shaving my dog the head attachment kept falling sliding off the trimmer. Just from the vibration of the trimmer alone before I even started shaving my dog the guard kept sliding off and it did this with every single guard that was included in the set. There is nothing for the guards to clip or fix themselves onto along the trimmers blade or sides, so this was a huge failure and miss during the manufacturing process. I have a long haired dog that shaving down to the bare skin would leave an awful undesirable look, so if you don't care for using the guards and want to shave your dog completely down to the bone then this hair trimmer set may be the one for you.However if you're a professional that grooms a large variety of dogs for a living and you need a reliable trimmer that can keep a trimmer guard in place without fail, then I would say skip this one and keep looking.

Clippers and attachments are made well - not cheap flimsy bits. Adjustable blade length. Display is easy to read - shows the % charge life. Has 2 speeds only. High is workable and it didn't get hot. Fairly quiet when in use. I found that it didn't cut as well as I expected - especially my poodle hair. Would get tangled up between the blades. The blade is metal at least.

I have used several different clipper sets on my dogs and this one is by far the best. First, the clippers are easy to hold in your hand, the size is perfect for me. Next, it is extremely quiet so my dog is not fearful when I turn it on. It is charged by plugging in via USB cord and is cordless when using it. The charge last a very long time. I have never used a full charge on my dog and sh has long hair. The clippers are narrower than the standard making it easier to trim faces, legs and paws. It comes with 4 different metal blade guards so that you can trim to whatever length you want for your dog. The set comes complete with clippers, charging cord and block, blade guards and oil for keeping the clippers at peak performance. All this comes in a convenient storage case with full instructions written in English. These clippers are sharp, sized right and quiet and I think they are truly a great set.
