I was able to quickly form a bubble brakeline fitting in less than 5 seconds and then quickly make a double flare in 5 seconds. If you need to replace a whole brake line and have no leaks...This is what you need! This tool needs to be mounted in a good vice! You cannot hold it by hand. Well worth the money!!!

I looked at the eastwood and it looks the same but way more expensive. This sucker is like a bullet press when you get a hang of it. You need a vice and set up a little stand for your vice. I did a couple on the truck using C clamps to hold it steady but it's sketchy. the unit gives like a inch and a half section out of the bottom to clamp onto. I have a jawhorse (highly recommend getting one or the knock off) and it was trying to twist out of the clamp. it really wants a proper vice but you can bang out a bunch of lines in a fraction of time once you get it set up. and use some lubricant like they recommend in the videos. the die can grab the edge and kind of smear the double flare if you don't lube

I had watched a video of this tool and it looked like an improvement over the small regular set I owned. It didn’t take long to figure out you need the vice due to the pressure used. So that takes any portability out of it. The bulk of flares are done under the vehicle so I ended up using my small set and it actually took less force to operate than this tool.
