Fantastic clipper at the great price!... Light weight but powerful. Glides easily through the toughest tangles leaving no lines behind. Doesn't burn the skin. Isn't noisy and fits comfy the hand. No numbing side effects due to vibrations. Clipping my rescues used to be the least exiting part of my work. Now I'm actually looking forward to it :-)). With this clipper I can create quality cuts in lesser time. Highly recommend to groomers and people with substantial pet crews. It even comes with one extra blade, good size bottle of the clipper oil and a maintenance brush. Finally somebody designed a quality grooming device. Thanks goodness for that... I'm getting another one in case they'll get out of stock. Ps, It's advertised as live stock and big dogs grooming tool but it also works perfectly fine on small dogs and puppies.

Cuts like butter… I’m not picky so shaving down low is fine… Aussie Doodle was burning up under all her fur. The rest got butt cuts and under belly. Worked great on the Minnie Aussie. Low noise, didn’t notice any vibrations… very limited! Worth it!!!

I was hoping for a much better result from these clippers than the outcome I got. To say they are good for shearing sheep may be a bit overstated. I bought these clippers after calling and speaking with the company customer service person. He was very friendly and felt quite confident that the clippers would work well in removing matted hair from my chow chow. I thought if these clippers could cut though a sheep's wool then cutting through her hair should be a breeze. Unfortunately, this is not the case. It took several minutes to cut out just one matted spot. I'm starting to wonder if such clippers even exist.

I have doodle with an undercoat. Clippers worked great but I need clipper combs so I don’t nick and clipper burn my rotten mutt. This is the 2nd set of clippers I’ve bought and they cut through both coats beautifully but way too close, nicks and clipper burn, my poor wee lad. That’s why only 4 stars.

As a former professional groomer and a current dog owner, finding reliable clippers that meet my standards can be a challenge. I'm thrilled to report that these clippers have not only met but exceeded my expectations.Having experience in both professional grooming and personal pet care, I appreciate the versatility these clippers offer. The fact that they are heavy-duty enough for use on horses speaks volumes about their power and performance. Whether it's trimming a horse's mane or giving my dog a neat and tidy look, these clippers handle the job with ease. The clippers effortlessly glide through various types of hair, making the grooming process smooth and efficient. I've used them on my dog, which has a combination of fine and massively thick hair in places, and the results have been fantastic. They leave a clean, even cut without snagging or causing discomfort to the animal. No cut lines on the dog.Although the clippers are described as heavy-duty, they are surprisingly manageable to use. The weight isn't overly cumbersome, making them suitable for both short sessions and prolonged grooming tasks. The sturdiness of these clippers is evident in their construction. The clippers show no signs of strain even during extended use, reflecting their high-quality build. Satisfied customer!

Ive found these clippers to be super easy to use and durable, only down side is that they are not cordless which can make clipping horses a little more challenging.

I used this on a poodle and it worked great. The poodle doesn't have super thick hair, but it does have curly hair and a lot of it. The clippers went right through the hair neatly without snagging. I would say the only disadvantage is there are no combs, so you're kind of stuck with trimming at a specific length. However, no combs were advertised which is why I still give it 5 stars.

I live on a farm where we have both dogs and horses that I use clippers for! My dog clippers just isn't heavy duty enough for the horses! That's where this came in. However, my intention was to just use this for both animals! For the horses, it was mainly to trim the mane and it worked fine. One of my minis has extremely thick, coarse hair that grows super long over his eyes/etc. So I just hold it in the air and it zips right off with this! For my dog, it's a little more tricky. It doesn't come with guides….so you get one length. I'm not sure if you can buy other length blades or guides but I just decided not to be picky instead. So I shaved her down and it worked fine. The back just wasn't quite as short as I'd like and the ears were a little too short. But as mentioned, not a big deal! The device itself is very heavy duty! I believe it advertises somewhere as being their most lightweight, but it is still kind of heavy. I don't have an issue with it as I use it for short times but with prolonged use, it may get heavy!Overall though, it does it's job! I assume many use it for sheep perhaps and I can't say how well it works for something THAT course…but my horses mane is thick/course and it worked fine.
