Stays on, nice material, doesn’t seem to irritate the horse. I’ve been using just on the trailer. My horse has a really thick tail that she rubs in the trailer.A little difficult to get manure stains out of.

I have a gelding that will rub his tail out because of boredom. Professional choice always makes great products. It does the job but falls off at night time, I guess I rather keep putting it on verses having a tail head with no hair on a horse.

I love this product and my old one was breaking down from extensive use over 15 years!!! So I was so happy they make this Tail protector the same bc it works great for my horse, who leans on tail during trailer rides... this keeps him from ruining his tail bc before I used this, his tail was tearing off from the pressure.

Fits good! keeps my two year old from rubbing his tail out. Only issue is if left on for more than an hour or two it WILL cause sores on the inside of tail! Good product but isn't good to keep on all the time.

My 2yo colt rubs his tail into a Brillo pad from allergies. This tail wrap is perfect. I put it on only at night and it doesn't budge if fastened securely (I don't use slippery silicone hair products because they cause hair brittleness and breakage), it's stretchy neoprene so I don't worry about circulation when fastened tautly, and it's the high quality I've come to expect from Professional's Choice. It worked and held up perfectly for months until I took it off and accidentally left it within mouth reach of a certain someone who chewed the velcro straps off. Now I have to buy another one. Pull it taut, fasten it securely and evenly and it will stay on.
