When these arrived I was really disappointed, and thought about returning them. They were huge! Then I thought, "Well you ordered a really large size, cause you were afraid they would be too small." Kind of willing to take the blame for the fit. Started thinking about altering them. Easy fix right? Two seams placed up the sides should do it and then hem them. Then I thought ... cotton ... better wash them first. Well after washing no hem is necessary and they almost fit. I still need to do a little tailoring, but I actually could wear them now. I'm 5'5" and we won't discuss my weight. I ordered the ones for someone who 6'2"-6'4" and after washing they don't need hemming. Consider that when you order.

I ordered these pants as a replacement pair for a house dobak jacket that we have at our Hapkido dojang. I'm very happy with the durable weight with a light flexible feel to them. Being a Hapkido dojang we practice both Judo style throws, and Tae Kwon Do style kicks, and finding a dobak (uniform) that can keep up with our demands can be challenging. I find these ProForce Gladiator Judo Gi's really feel nice, and hold up very well for the price.

By the time I found a pair of pants big around enough for my legs, they were 6 inches too long. I decided not to wash them and risk having them shrink to be too tight on my legs and still too long. Found out that the seller charges a 25% restocking fee plus return postage. So, I'm getting about half of my purchase price refunded. Should have just taken that money and thrown it in the trash.

These pants are great.... Comfortable, sized right, durable! I got a black pair because I liked my white ones so much.... One problem; the strings on the black size 6 are really really short! The excess on the white pair is nice because you can get a big tie but the black strings are stubby and it looks like a shoe bow when you're finished. I tried to order a replacement string and had to get white because someone at the company had precut all the black ties too short. Any size 6 or over will be unsat as far as the tie goes.... Otherwise it's a great pant and very courteous, responsive company.

Top notch Judo pants! As a competitor, I was amazed by how much abuse on the mats these took but never tore or ripped like other pants I've tried. I no longer compete so I use them year round as pajama pants. They are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Perfect PJ bottoms!!!
