These are the valve cover fastners that you use when you want to do it right but you don't want some big old "wingnut" standing up above the valve cover to catch your sleeve or arm on everytime you reach across the motor. These are high quality and priced right.

Others have mentioned rust on these as a problem. I found some rust in the package, but these clean up just fine with a minimal effort. I got them to solve a problem i have with accessing the rear valve cover bolts on my car. These have solved the problem by raising the nut about 3/4", making it much easier for me to get a wrench on them.

I have reread the advertisement twice more to make sure I didn’t miss something. The advertisement shows two bolts as a demonstration but gives the impression this is a set. In reality a set would be twelve bolts (six for each valve cover) but the actual shipment is only four bolts which would require the purchase of three of these sets making the purchase three times as expensive and not worth the price. I would rather be told the true price of a complete set before ordering instead of being disappointed and having to return the purchase. The up side to this; as always Amazon delivered my order on time and prefunded my money without question.

Just like another review for this item I kind of feel scamed as it gives the feeling is a full set but there is only 4pcs you will need to buy 2 more packs for full set. their all are still on the package as they are inomplete plus they are all fully rusted it even has rust dust inside the package.

they came with too long of studs but we made it work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Packaging was stained with rust dust, but once they were cleaned off they look great. Be where you need 12 studs and there is only 4 to a package.
