I installed this on my 2005 Chevy Avalanche 2500 with an 8.1 Liter engine. Amazon's fitment guide states it will not work.......that is wrong. Fits exactly like a stock starter and spins the engine over with ease! Plus it was $50-$100 cheaper that getting a starter from a local parts store.

After a few months of “starting†it started struggling to fire up the car. Sometimes I’m not certain the car will start at all. Would recommend a different brand.

It's a strong starter and it pulls a lot of ramps, but it works great.

I received a used starter and I needed this badly I have a customer waiting I’m not very happy at all now I have to wait for a replacement because I’m not putting a used starter on a customers car not knowing why it was returned

The little gear/sprocket would extend but not turn at all. Disappointed
