I’m super glad to have it. I leave the remote position on and control it with the pull chain so I don’t hit a wrong button and accidentally turn on the light when I don’t want it. This was a cinch to install. I only need a screwdriver to install.

Maybe the cost could have been cut by not offering all of the extra colors of "caps" or pull chains (have no use for the extras), but extremely pleased at how easy it was to install, how it looks and "performs".

Super frustrating when you search for your type of fan, get a search result that says "universal" and it doesn't fit.I have a Casablanca Holliston fan, it is not compatible, and didn't come with any adapters. It appears to fit only a specific type of firing, where the opening on the housing cover is only the width of the stem, so that one but can hold it in place. The Holliston has a wide switch housing and the kit provides no way to connect it.

Couldn't find the size I needed to replace my broken dome so bought the whole kit which had the size I needed. I just used the dome. Buying domes separately are expensive anyway - plus I got extra led lightbulbs also.
