Arrived on time package good. Product looks good but cheaply made. Gauges do not read correctly even when set to 0 on start up. Vacuum lines that came with it do not fit snug on fittings and the fittings that came with it are cheap plastic fittings and they leak. Do not waste your money on this product. Very unhappy customer

Bought to sync the carbs on my 82 Yamaha Virago 750. The valves are tricky to dial in. After plugging them into vacuum ports (and during idle), I had to completely unscrew the supplied valve, plug that hole with my finger, and wait until the needle started bouncing back and forth rapidly across half the dial. At that point, I replaced the supplied valve screw and turned it in (clockwise) until the bouncing dropped to just barely moving in the center of the extremes it was moving between before. Did that for both. Had to redo it a few times while I played with the sync screw on the carb because the needles seem to get unaligned easy and need to be readjusted with the supplied screwdriver. Eventually, between fiddling with the carb sync screw and the gauge valves (and a lot of triple checking), I was able to sync my carbs. Engine runs great now. Sometimes the needles would get way off and the adjustment screw wouldn't turn far enough to fix it. To get them back, I gently slid/moved them back and forth a few times until they seated close to zero, and then used the adjustment screw to zero them back in. Some reviews mention that problem and I found just gently moving them one way or another in small amounts seemed to reset them close enough to readjust and work again. Overall, you get what you pay for. Higher priced gauges might be more reliable, but these worked for me with the tips above, and I'll keep them handy in my toolbox until I need them again. Hope this helps.

These came with very basic instructions. Build quality on the outside is okay. Adjusted the dials to zero and used as directed. After the first use, one was completely off zero and couldn’t be calibrated back. After several attempts I just sent them at a different position and realized that the two gauges move at different speeds and never quite end up at the same position after the load is taken off. Now I have a useless dual gauge.

Easy to set-up, dial-in, and use. Both gauges read true to each other. The plastic dampener valves are what you would expect for a tool in this price range, but for just synchronizing dual carbs to each other every once in a great while these are just the ticket.

I have a 2001 Yamaha V-Star 650. After cleaning the carbs, it is essential to balance the carbs. I will not waste my money on an expensive balancer. By using this gadget, manage to tune the carbs for it to run smoothly.

When I got the gauges one of them had the needle off of 0 the other one was dead on 0. I adjusted the needle as the instructions provided showed and centered the needle on 0 however when you then use the gauge with a vaccum it gives a reading that is inaccurate and when the vaccum is released the gauge doesn't return to 0 but stays at the false reading. Inaccurate and useless however the other gauge is useable and returns to 0 but I'm sceptical on the accuracy with the issue of the other gauge.

Worked for a couple minutes. There is adjustments and tuning but it didn’t work at all. One gauge seemed to work a bit longer than the other but this was a waste of money. Well I guess I’m returning them so more like a waste of time.
