In order to bring my walking stix on a tourin Alaska, I packed them in the tube and checked them in the box as well. 6 flights and no problem at all.

Had to modify tube ends to get the endcaps to fix. Other than that nice sturdy tubes.

These are sturdy and can be used for a verity of items. I used mine for shipping a cymbal stand.

Used this to create a home made "Cactus Tree" for Christmas it worked well and being hollowed helped put some weight in them.
