I was completely satisfied with the speed of delivery and the quality and condition of the product. It shipped within 3 or 4 days of my having placed the order via Amazon, and arrived within 2 days FedEx standard delivery. The valet was good quality, (we're not talking heirloom stuff, right?), solid wood, nicely stained, with only minor imperfections consisting of a knot in the wood on one spot and a very slight nick at another spot, neither of which were obvious nor which detracted from the overall sense of quality.The assembly instructions were excellent. Of course, being an Ikea/Home Depot/Lowe's shopper, I'm not unfamiliar with the assembly process. Nevertheless, the instructions were clear and unambiguous, and even taking my time I finished in about 20 minutes. As an aside, several days later I bought a cabinet that needed assembly, which was fabricated in the US, and the instructions were less clear than those of the Chinese-made wardrobe valet!

Shelf is 16'' x 7-8''Needed a phillips-head or flathead screw driver. Pegs on side were hard to put in. I needed a hammer to hammer in the pegs. Didn't realize this and almost removed the malleable plastic it's supposed to hammer into.
