My heart sank when I opened the box and saw dozens of pieces of this suit valet with no written instructions. However, it was the EASIEST thing to put together as the parts and pictures are all labeled very clearly (pay attention to washers is all).The heavy plastic base is fully covered in genuine metal and so it appears solid. It doesn’t affect quality or aesthetics at all.All the other metal feels quality and looks great. A couple of small accessories - like an end cap on the trouser holder is actually silver plastic, but you’d never know.I am super impressed with the wood! It’s classy and expensive looking and there were no scratches or cheaply done areas.The overall size is perfect. It is exactly size as stated (I measured). The style and size is what drew me to this model above all the others as I didn’t want a clunky and older traditional style valet in my modern bedroom. This is practical, doesn’t take up a lot of space and looks nice on its own.The downside: There is a some wobble on the pole when you put clothes on it, but this is very solid - even when on carpet and you’d honestly have to push it for it to fall over. The trade off for a sleek and smaller foot print, is there will be a little wobble when you touch it.My husband wears suits and blazers almost daily and I am so happy he now has a place to set out his clothes - especially before his early morning flights which saves time not having to press over anything AND helps keep our bedroom tidy.It’s became the gift he didn’t know he needed. I love it!

May not be as sturdy as the older type of Butler but I use it greatly. Great for the cost , but a little flimsy. I may order another one for my wife 😊

Very happy with my purchase. Very sturdy and easy assembly, I did it my self 😱. It was an open box with no instructions, but looking at the pictures you can figure it out. It was a present for hubby and he liked it. Very practical, takes almost no space.

There was a part missing when I put it together. I can't get a hold of the seller to get the missing part. Otherwise this is a very nice valet.

Wonderful valet stand, perfect height for holding my son’s pipes and drums band marching uniform. He does not use it daily so not sure how it would stand up to daily use but seems very secure as it is currently.

There was rust on the metallic base and the trouser hanger was slightly bent out of shape. The screws attached the poles were not straight and so had to fiddle when tightening to ensure correct alignment. Some parts are plastic rather than metal. Do not expect this piece to last too long.

Not tall enough. The top rack only has a plastic cover for the screw. Some of the attachments are plastic.
