========================================================================NOTE: Product being reviewed is ASIN B0DK9DSLCH, ad entitled: "Propane Lantern Globe Glass Replacement Compatible with Coleman Fueled Lanterns, Standard Replacement Parts, Clear Lantern Mantles, Reusable Lantern Mantles Parts for Outdoor Camping Lantern" Price at the time of my order (Feb 15, 2025) was $12. No coupons were available at that time. I received the product at no cost for review via the Vine program========================================================================What can one say about a lantern globe? The ad lists my Coleman 5154 (which is a propane-only unit) as one of the models which this globe is "compatible with". Good choice of words, because it's not an exact fit: The Coleman original globe is 4.25' diameter x 4.5" high, whereas this one is 4.1" diameter by 4.4" high. Still, it can be made to fit, if one is willing to live with a little bit of slop around the base flange, but I doubt that will interfere with its functionality, so won't detract for that. Close enough.It arrived well packed and intact.If course can't say anything about durability yet, but hopefully it will last a while.One beef with the ad: The fourth bullet item begins with the following sentence: "[Specification Size]: the size of each lantern mantles is 3.94 x 2.95 inches;"which seems to vaguely imply that mantles are included with the product, but that is not the case. Perhaps the ad copy was snarfed from a different product offering that also included mantles? I don't know, just guessing, but it seems to me that that sentence is out of place.Anyway, in the spirit of generosity -- ignoring the minor size issue and the weird sentence about mantles -- giving it five stars.

I actually bought this shade to use as sort of a hurricane shade to burn candles outside and protect them from being blown out by the wind. And while it ended up being too small for the initial use I wanted it for (3 wick jar candles), it'll still work perfect for smaller candles! So if anyone happens to need it for either of those uses-you're welcome ;) As far as it's intended purposes, this looks like it'd be exactly what it says it will and a great quality shade for a lantern!
