Instructions for Use

  1. Put the small 1 lb. propane bottle in the freezer for 30 minutes, then weigh it.
  2. Turn the large tank upside down and ensure the valve is off.
  3. Open the large tank’s valve slightly.Connect the hose adapter to the small bottle and open the valve to begin refilling for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Close both valves and disconnect the small bottle, the small propane bottle is ready for use!

This is my third one and it is the first one that has worked consistently. I opted for the metal wrapped hose as an option. For only a couple dollars more, you get the safety of not having nicks and cuts in the hose.
