Instructions were right on. No issues with following them. Excellent product for ease of installation. All work can be done from above. It took more time to remove the old than installing the new. If there is one thing I would like to see is that the product be made from some form of metal or brass.

Easy installation from above without having to go under the house crawlspace which is very tight. I had to use a 2" PVC pipe with 2" to 1-1/2" PVC reducer into the existing 1-1/2" PVC stub up for my particular drain. It took just over 1hr to cut the existing drain out, assemble the piping and fittings and install the WingTite drain, start to finish. I highly recommend this product.

The company wanted to charge to put in a new shower pan for thousands and I fixed it for less then $50. and that company had already cut into the ceiling.

I had a problem with my shower drain in the upstairs master guest room. My son looked around for a way to fix the drain without cutting into the drywall. He found this little jewel. Worked perfectly. A great quick fix. I waited 2 days for the silicone to fully cure and the O ring to seal. So far so good.

Installation is easy, just make sure your drain pipe is very clean and smooth, I used steel wook and a fine sanding paper around it and left it nice and shiny, then the O ring fits nice and snug.

We had 2 plumber quotes $600-900, and both were going to cut drywall out of the kitchen to replace the drain. I was able to install this myself for under $100. Pay attention to the quality of your 2 inch pipe. Make sure it's free of sharp edges and has a smooth outer surface. This will ensure a good seal on the O-ring. After install I filled the shower base with water and let it to sit for 8h to make sure there were no leaks after install. (better to find leak now than a slow leak later)Also called their customer support to verify my install process was correct. They were very helpful and had a full understanding of their product and roadblocks a home owner could run into.

I replaced a brass drain. I got most of it apart from top side, but locking nut under drain was corroded. Had to cut ceiling out in garage below. I believe it is a good idea to add a bead of the silicone around the top of the PVC pipe, too. My pipe was not quite straight. I bought a door to repair ceiling in garage. Better than patching drywall.

No leaks. Easy to install but wind the screws to move the wings up a bit to limit how much pressure you have to exert after you insert the fitting.

This is an easy to install from top shower drain. the difficult job is to carefully remove the old leaking drain. I used a rotary tool with flexible shaft and a special hack saw, it makes the job of removing the old drain much easier but you have to very carful not to cut the shower floor or the 2" pipe. other than this, installing the new drain is very easy and so far it is very good. Durability is not tested yet (only tested for 1 week).

We have been in construction for 45 years and this is the first time we ran into a situation my husband could not solve on an installed shower.This product is a 10 star. Our motto is the difficult we do right away the impossible takes another hour. Without this product I would have had to cut open the drywall below and the bill would have bee $5,000.00.
