Fits the trumpet bell perfectly! It’s very thin unlike other bell covers which is great for airflow. I’m considering buying bulk for my quintet if the virus is still around :/

On trumpet, the bell cover goes on easily and seems to be effective in reducing moisture and vapor coming out the bell. Unfortunately, a drawback occurs in the upper register where the increased resistance becomes more noticeable and the pitch becomes difficult to control. After a 90 minute rehearsal, I was fatigued more than usual.However, for most school band settings and 45 minute rehearsals, the Protec bell cover will work fine.

This fit my trumpet perfectly. It fits snug without being too hard to put on. It doesn’t muffle the sound and it looks very professional. Only logo is a small tag on the back.

There is added back pressure as you would expect but not excessive. The sound is slightly muffled but not too bad.

Protec makes excellent products, and this is one of them. It fits perfectly over trumpet bells. The bell diameters on my trumpets range from 4-7/8" to 5-1/4" and this cover fits properly. Plus, I could not detect a significant loss in the sound from the bell. Also, it appears to be very durable. A good purchase.
