Our new MOTO Series (MT) super tweeters feature a new short horn design to provide a nice finishing touch to any motorcycle audio system without taking up much space. These products are available in two sizes and feature flexible mounting options for easy installation.

Depending on the thickness of your baffle, there are two flush mounting options. Its front ring and tightening tool can be used to mount it in installations with limited space.

This small 2.25″ horn tweeter is built to handle 120 watts and is capable of astonishing high frequency performance. 107 dB sensitivity at 1w/1m.
A capacitor is included for protection from damaging frequencies at high power. Mounting hardware and a tightening tool are included.
Another unique feature of the MT2.2TWB-4 is its two mounting options for flush mount without having the treads exposed. You have the option to flush mount on thin baffle cutouts and be able to tighten it from its slotted front ring on more space constrained installations.
Its unique 10 mm trick front ring and a rubber gasket help securely mount the tweeter without exposing its treaded barrel. They are small enough to easily drop into existing fairing gauge holes on your motorcycle.
Due to the premium materials used in its construction, such as a titanium diaphragm, a high-temperature voice coil, and a strong neodymium magnet motor, this produces a remarkably high frequency.

So I'm not an audio specialist, but I'm an audio enthusiast. I'm a full time filmmaker and used to be a musician, many, many lives ago. So I do understand a bit of audio.A bullet tweeter generally is used in DJ or Car set up where you need high output. Problem with bullet tweeters is that they are very directional. So you need to have them pointing right at your ear for the best sound experience.This tweeter had an OUTSTANDING listening experience.I tested it in a studio setup with my JBL 530 that honestly lack a bit in highs. So I've been looking to augment this with an external tweeter powered by its own AMP the AIYIMA A07 MAX 2 which is outputting about 200w with the provided power supply (It can go to 600w).I listened Klaus Badelt Its a pirate a blast of all sounds including several high tones. The sound was really nice. Well defined highs in cymbals, bells and overtones for all instruments. Granted this is a $75 tweeter, but you do get your money's worth. Really well balanced.Then as I have the 2.75 version of this same tweeter I decided to hook them into my system now with the included capacitor. I have to say the 2.75 (140w) has a lot more dispersion than this 2.25. The power handling is about the same. But the 2.75 PRV Bullet tweeter sounded more open. I know this is mambo Jambo from audiophiles but it does simply because the diaphragm is bigger, so its physics.Of course, I would never use a bullet tweeter in an Audiophile system, my preference is ribbon, but I'm definitely impressed by the quality of sound coming out of this tweeter. Absolutely worth your money. Congratulations to PRV for bringing this high quality product to the US market.

If you’ve never used these types of high powered tweeters before I suggest you do so. You will find these is some of the loudest and cleanest car audio builds in the world. PRV is known for high quality speakers with tremendous output. I like that these can be mounted is many places. Custom install is usually required for this speaker. They are solid metal which makes them very durable. But what the listing doesn’t tell you is that if you blow this tweeter you don’t need to buy new ones. Go online and purchase replacement voice coil diaphragms which are very inexpensive and super easy to swap out. The mounting style requires zero screws. It has a screw on trim ring that also acts as the flush mounting ring. These are amazing speakers. I do recommend running them off an amplifier to power them properly and also being sure to not forget to install a “bass blocker†inline crossover so that you protect it from lower frequencies.

We installed two of these speakers in the back doors of the Elantra and they come through very clean. 100 RMS per channel output and these can take all of it without any issues.
