Thanks to the eyelets on the top part of the thimbles, up to four wool threads can gently slide onto the knitting pin without knotting. Even complicated Norwegian patterns and all sorts of multi-colored patterns can be perfectly and easily achieved. A lateral slit in the thimble provides a comfortable fit and firmness on both skinny and sturdy fingers. The latch over the eyelet can be opened very easily to change the color order when knitting.

Mother said it works as intended and fits her finger just right. She said she has big fingers. There is a slit that allows for some expansion for larger fingers.For those who might be concerned it might be too big, a little yarn around the finger would snug it up.

I was disappointed with this item. Many reviewers said it was loose on the finger. I had no problem with that. It fit fine. I knit English style(throwing your yarn), so I could never get it to be in a position that did not interfere with how I hold my yarn. I believe if you knit continental, you will be fine. I did put it on the yarn and set it in my basket that holds my yarn and that worked to some degree. Also, the arm that held the yarn in place would move off the base many times. That was frustrating.

No two people knit the same way, and I just couldn't get this thing to work for me (and I've always been a continental knitter). It fit my finger, but positioned the yarn too high and made knitting with it too awkward. Would have worked better if it were more like a ring and sat nearer to the knuckle of my index finger. Oh well . . . live and learn!

Very expensive and seemed to large for most fingers. Good concept just didnt fit right...and WAY to expensive for a finger yarn holder!
