For buyer's convenience, we have pre-assembled all boards that can be assembled. All you need to do is attach 9 identical screws to the four boards using the included small wrench to complete the assembly. Due to the heavy weight of the board, it is recommended that 2 people assemble together.

Solid sheet and corner reinforcement
We have added fixed triangular support blocks to the corners of the chair, so that the chair can bear more weight without damage, extending the life of the chair.

This is a very high quality wood bench, which we are very happy with. I looked at quite a few, many of which cost almost twice as much, and I can’t imagine that they are any better. The wood grain is very smooth, and all the joints fit together beautifully and fasten tightly. It’s very sturdy and attractive. The seat back, the arm rests and the seat itself are comfortable, too. Some of the others I looked at seemed too straight up and flat bottomed. I used some wood oil on it, and I expect it to last for decades.The assembly was fine. I like putting furniture and things together, so I enjoyed it, and it was par for the course in respect to difficulty. I did ask my husband to help me tighten some of the bolts, because I didn’t want to get out additional tools.

Bench is absolutely wonderful. The assembly is easy, but if being assembled by a small woman, another person may be needed. Totally enjoy this beautiful, non-maintenance bench!

This bench is beautiful. It looks like real wood. It is well constructed and easy to put together. It arrived early and is packaged with great care. It is the perfect subtle pop of colour on our front porch. It is very comfortable to sit on. Just LOVE IT!

The bench is easy to assemble, 15 minute job, but be prepared to use own tool, as the “tools†that comes in the package, as usual, are cheap and not strong. You will need a 5mm and a 13mm wrench or socket.The material is very dense, making the bench heavy, and steady, The wood look is very nice, and the surface finish is very smooth all over, and The seat is well supported by stringers underneath the seating surface.The assembly instructions are very easy to understand and follow and the screws, washers and nuts appears to be of good quality, for the purpose. The “anchors†for the leg/side pieces, placed in the seat and backrest, seems to be strong as well.Put everything together with hand-tightened screws at first, and the place the bench on a flat surface, before the final tightening of the screws.Our bench is placed on pea pebbles, and digs in a little in these, and is rather steady on this surface.The only thing to point out is, the un-even distance between the ends of the seat “planksâ€, where the hover above the side pieces. It can be taken care of, if you at willing to elongate the three holes in the seats back stringer, before you mount it to the backrest.I’m pretty sure we wil benefit for the this bench for many years 😀

first rate packaging...quality materials...assembles easily...looks great...should outlast real wood by a long shot...cant beat the price...just get it!!!

I have other polystyrene furniture, and like those pieces, this 4' bench is very heavy and sturdy, won't rot, and is therefore excellent for a garden or patio. The hardware is non-ferrous, probably aluminum, so it won't rust.Assembly is simple--four pieces, nine bolts--and took 15 minutes. It would have been easier and faster with a helper to hold things in place.I did follow the suggestion of another reviewer and used my own long metric Allen wrench and a 13mm ratcheting box-end wrench. I also followed another suggestion and carried the pieces about 50 yards or so to where I wanted the assembled bench, so I wouldn't have to carry the very heavy piece of assembled furniture.I ordered the "brown" color for a garden area. The color is a true brown, not the darkest brown there is, but a medium mahogany brown that is very close to the color representation on my computer screen.I wanted to comment on the packing. Although the bench parts themselves are almost indestructible, they were protected against scratches, shocks, breaks, and dents by an incredible array of styrofoam blocks. Shippers of delicate medical instrumentation could take packing lessons from these guys.

This little bench seems to be sturdy. My two issues are 1. the color (brown) seems to be misrepresented by the seller. A very flat odd brown color. The second is the depth of seat is very short. I’m only 5’3†and I feel like I am perched near the edge. Pay attention to the measurements. I missed this detail and it was not the sellers fault. The bench went together very easily and looks nice in the area it’s sitting in. It seems very sturdy and will be sitting in full sun, so I hope it holds up. The bench arrived early and was packaged well. No cosmetic damage and the instructions were easy to follow. We used the tools the seller provided and they worked great. All holes lined up and the screws seated easily. My only regret is I wish I had purchased a different color. I will update if I have any issues with durability.

Excellent product. Putting it together was easy as it was engineered perfectly. The color surprised me - I was afraid it would look shiny and plastic, but it did not. The finish was matte with streaks of black for dimension. Very nicely done.
