Visor fits nicely however, as soon as I unpacked the visor from its box the latch fell off! I found that the screw that attaches the latch to the visor is too short! I needed to remove the screw from the factory visor and transfer it to the visor I just purchased.

This snapped into place perfectly and fits just like the original. The only downside is that you have to be very sensitive when cleaning. Use a gentle touch and a soft cloth or else the gold film on the glass rubs off.I have been through about 3 of these visors. The good thing is that they are on the wife's helmet and since she is a backpack I get all the bugs on my helmet.

I have an HJC i10 helmet, and this just doesn't fit. The post design and overall shape and size of this shield is an unfunctional silhouette of the original equipment HJC shield. The posts have extra pieces compared to the HJC shield, and that made it nearly impossible to mount. Once mounted, which took quite a long time of mostly unsuccessful attempts, the shape of this shield does not cover the helmet area correctly. There was a huge, gigantic gap between the helmet and this shield.

The visor was received with a plastic bag in an additional thin foam sleeve wrapped in bubble wrap in turn wrapped cyclically with packing tape the full length. Take care when unpackaging with a knife or similar.After all of the unpacking, I still have blemishes of some sort on the inside of the visor. It looks a bit like maybe poly strings that could be part of the molding process. Whatever it is, it is a part of the visor. I included a picture to show this.It definitely has pretty look to it. Instead of the consistent blue of my OEM visor, it blends from a purplish to a deep blue in the sun. It must be the "aurora" aspect. I have included a pic of the two. The smoke is more amber than neutral so another thing to maybe get used to, with a pic as well.TBH, at half the price, it isn't too bad.

I was concerned about the fit, but this is an exact match for my helmet.I wish it was more of a reflective mirror surface, but it is perfectly clear with a silver tint. Flawless, inside and out. I like it!
