We use these in VRLA R&D. They seem to be resistant to sulfuric acid at 1.28-1.3SG based on our testing before use, and the price was right. Be aware: +/- leads are opposite what is typically used in electrical wiring (important if you are new to thermocouples and decide to switch the connectors)
