sometimes i need a wider one of these to use and this one can put a wide string or string that has a crimped piece of metal that needs to fit

These are nice cord locks that come in handy for a variety of uses.The count of 36 was accurate.The size is medium.I already had smaller ones which I detest because they are so difficult to hold/manage/operate because of the small size and slippery plastic and threw the away.I also have larger ones which I love because they are stronger, hold a larger/thicker cord, and are most easily held/operated/used thanks to their large size, even though they are slick plastic.So what I received are 36 medium size cordlocks that work well, are manageable, and the only way they could be better is if they were larger.

A great way to cinch up drawstring and, to keep the strings from "disappearing" within a garment or bag.The single-hole spring push-stopper mechanism works as it should and is easy to use for basic drawstring uses. At 1/4-inch wide by 1/5-inch high, the size of the drawstring opening will reasonably work with various cords provided they are less than .13-inches wide (Anything thicker is difficult to insert with two cords).This will work perfectly when used with drawstrings that will not have much opposing tensions applied. The smooth inner opening does not actually "bite" into the cord which will result in slippage if opposing forces are applied (especially depending on how smooth the cord is). I was hoping that I might be able to use them with my camping equipment to make holding/adjusting guy lines quick and easier. However, they will not hold a line under tension from one side of the cord but will instead slip. Also, when used on sweatpants they work perfectly when standing upright . However, when bending or, during heavy exertion, the drawstrings did tend to slip.In fairness though, I know of no other similar product that does not have a smooth bore either.With that said, when used with basic drawstring items these perform as intended and work as well as and, even better than, most similar items that manufacturers normally provide and, at just 6.99 for 36, they give ample quantity to replace weak, broken or missing fasteners

These are absolutely delightful cord locks! Great value for the money and come in a great plastic box. These are super easy to use and work like a charm! Perfect for repairs and/or creating your own unique projects! Highly recommended !!
