This is basic and super easy to use. There are 5 parts. A floater ring, a bucket that sits in the ring, a light/fogger with power cord attached, that sits in the bucket with the cord coming out of a notch in the bucket, and an umbrella splash guard that you connect to the bucket by placing a shaft on the umbrella into a hole on the rim of the bucket. You put water in a container and float the fogger in the ring in the water. Please refer to my video for information on this. In the video I forgot to mention about putting the light into the bucket, so don't let that confuse you. The fogger assembles easily and starts working immediately when plugged in. It has a two prong plug, and both prongs are the same width. It's small, so don't expect it to do the job of a larger unit. It makes enough fog for one container, not a large area. The lights change color, and cycle automatically through the colors. There is no control for changing colors or to turn the unit on and off. Plug it in and it starts, unplug it and it stops. I gave it five stars because it's a small, basic unit, and it does its intended job well.

I have a few of these that I used for halloween. This one is the first one I've had that came with this particular spash guard design. The others were bigger and white. This one is black so it blends in well with a cauldron and it is dome shaped which makes it smaller at the top without losing function. It produces a greaat amount of steam as long as you get the water levels correct, which is easy when using the float, because it holds it at the right level in deeper water. I like the lights and how they look, but I really wish I could control them to have it stay on one color instead of cycling through them. This is still a really cool item for a halloween display or for certain party themes.

Disappointing Mist Output & Safety Concern"I was excited to try this PULACO Mist Maker Fogger, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations.Pros:Compact & Easy to Set Up – It was simple to place in the water, and it started producing mist right away.Decent Design – The included splash guard and floater help keep water from splashing too much.Cons:Weak Mist Output – It doesn’t produce as much fog as I expected, making it less effective for creating a dramatic effect.SHOCK HAZARD! – When I reached into the water to adjust it, I got shocked! This is a major safety concern, and I would not recommend using it without extreme caution.Not for Continuous Use – The product states it shouldn’t run for more than 8 hours at a time, which limits its usefulness.Water Quality Sensitivity – It seems very sensitive to water conditions, and poor water quality could shorten its lifespan.Final Thoughts:I do NOT recommend this product due to the electric shock risk and low mist production. If you decide to use it, be extremely cautious with water contact. I will be returning it and looking for a safer, better-performing alternative.

It technically works, but you have to set it up JUST right and it doesn't really seem to go for long based on the amount of water it can sit in. It's cute but if you wanted to set it up for a party you'd have to check on it and refill several times.

This puts off a good amount of fog. Use hot water to get the fog to rise, cold / ice water to make it fall.I'm using it for humidity control within a reptile enclosure, creating a waterfall into the water bowl at the bottom. It only needs to run a few seconds every minute or so shouldn't ever have an issue with the max run time of 8 hours the listing states.For decorative use, it'd be good inside something smaller. May need a couple of them or a larger one for a larger amount of fog. Doesn't not replace actual fog machines

This is a cute little fogger with an ever changing light display. Really easy to work, just float it in water. I plan to put this outside in my little fountain for special occasions in the summer
