It's apparently difficult to find an alternator pulley under 2.5, so this worked out great for my application. With this one I can be closer to the idle spec and still charge. It also didn't change the alignment with belt. My only thought is that they should make the counterbore slightly wider. It's just big enough to get a socket on the nut, but I had to try a few times before it could grab it. Still glad I found this one.

Charging system works MUCH better with this upgrade.Pic shows old pulley.Crank pulley was made underdrive on my blown 273 Chrysler which caused all sorts of problems like dim lights, turn signals stopping, stalling and slow heater fan when at a light.All greatly improved with this bad boy.Had to clearance the back of the pulley on a lathe but then it bolted on. Try that with the original alternator!Major win

Fits a 60-amp Ford 1G alternator perfectly and now when I come to a stop in gear with all electrical accessories on it maintains 14 volts at 550 engine RPM, before with everything on idling in gear the alternator wasn't spinning fast enough to keep up.
