This whole kit rocks. O have had the chance to use them actually as I went to the coast and I caught a few gnarly fishies. I used these to wrangle a couple cod and a single pike a little while ago and my fingers were nice and safe. The pliers are pretty cool too, and they grab the hooks nice and EASY! I like the slim profile of the grips as they get into the mouth nice. I also really like the carry cash, for which I will be using because my current hook removers are sitting loose in my tackle box and I can never find them when I want to find them.So, I am going to be keeping all these together as a kit from now on and I will be using them more when I go to my next fishing trip. The elastic sling on the pliers help me from dropping them when I get those shore and lake whoppers.10/10 Recommend, get these for your fisher friends!

The pliers are good quality and are precisely cut (milled vs cast). They are self opening and you have a lock to close. It comes with a stretchable lanyard which is appreciated by anyone whose lost their grip and watched their pliers disappear overboard into the water. The lip gripper is standard. It has a good grip and is easy to hold. If I had any complaint it would be that I wish the grips opened wider. They come in a very nice box but that ends up in the trash after I put these in my tackle box.

Both the pliers and the fish lip gripper have earned a spot in one of my tackle bags, but they’re not without their quirks.The pliers are spring-loaded and feel nice to use, with a smooth opening and closing mechanism. The handles, however, are plastic and get a bit slippery when wet. Surprisingly, because they’re skinny, they don’t slip as much as I expected, but I’d prefer if they were wrapped in the same non-slip EVA foam as the lip gripper.The jaws of the pliers are also on the skinny side. They work fine for removing stubborn hooks but could be wider to better handle tasks like pinching down split-shots. On the plus side, the line cutter works well across all types of line—braid, mono, and fluorocarbon. The locking mechanism is reliable and keeps the pliers closed securely. My only other gripe is the bungee tether, which feels flimsy, though the clip itself is sturdy.The fish lip gripper, on the other hand, is a winner. It has a good balanced weight, and the EVA foam handle is comfortable and truly non-slip—even when wet. The T-handle requires just the right amount of force to pull, and the grippers hold tight. Even a flopping fish won’t escape from their grip!Overall, I’m happy with both tools. They’re not perfect, but they get the job done and make a practical addition to my fishing gear.

I ordered these as a stocking stuffer for my man when we go out on the boat and fish, he was impressed by the quality of the pliers. He's been needing them desperately so these are a huge upgrade from his regular home pliers he's been using. The fish mouth grabbber isn't the best quality, but it will work! Using it is a little complicated as you will have your hands full with a fish, then you have to take your fingers and push back this metal piece to open the jaws of it. Overall this set was okay for the price and we will be using it! I did give this set 3/5 stars because I believe the design could be better.

Items arrived timely and as described. This product is high quality and very durable. Works great in it's design and haven't had issues with rusting. Nice size and good grips. Good value for the money!

Very easy to use. Works great for hook removal. Not big and bulky so they fit in the tackle box nicely. The pliers are easy to hold and manipulate/open and close nicely.

This combination lip gripper and pliers is a fantastic addition to my fishing gear. Having both tools in one compact design is incredibly convenient. I don't have to fumble around for separate tools, which saves me time and hassle on the water.
