Before I got this, I would have to take several pics of fabric before I got the pic that actually looked the actual color. I took 174 straight pics in one afternoon of fabric without having to retake using this light box. I took a few minutes to figure out how to set it up but should be way faster from now on. The only negative is that if you need to have the whole front open to take pics, the front only folds down over the table and I have to stand to take pics because I cannot put my knees under the table when I want to sit. I wish it was detachable. Otherwise it is doing what I needed it to.

This is a perfect item to take professional pics on a much smaller scale. Even though I knew the product's measurements, it did appear larger than what I assumed, but I am not disappointed.

Product was easy to set up and overall quality is good. The only downfall I noticed to this product is the manufacturer doesn't sell additional lighting to add to the box. I need more LED light strips and they don't sell them which is absurd.

It's incredible! It has helped me a lot to improve the quality of photographs. It comes with 6 different backdrops and the quality is amazing. The size of the light box is quite big

Here is a very convenient portable way to photograph small objects. This light box folds up into an easily carried package. It includes LED lights for illuminating the subject and a selection of colored backgrounds. The power supply comes with two cords that have intermediate connectors that make routing the wires into the box easier. On the other hand there are tradeoffs for the convenience. In my case, I compared this item to a large soft box with external lights that provides a softer glow to the subject and allows me to position objects deeper in the box. It’s my experience that using a longer focal length lens for close-up photography removes the distortions in wide angle lenses. With small objects the circular opening for a lens on the box works just fine. Objects larger than four inches in width were cut off by the surround. Larger objects up to six inches worked better through the wider door, although the LEDs could only be attached in a vertical position rather than overhead because of the location of the hook and loop strips, so only side lighting could be used.Speaking of hook and loop, the strips on the light had been installed in a way that they could not attach to the internal strips. I had to relocate them, but even then the connectors often failed to hold the lights in place.A real problem came with shiny objects. The multiple LED lights created a strange highlight, even when the provided diffusion screen was used as shown in the photograph. As is often the case, the instructions could have been more detailed and useful, and included some actual examples of use.Even though I had these complaints, my daughter-in-law, who designs jewelry, found this box to be just what she needed for photographing her work. In my case, if I’m ever called to Harry Winston’s to photograph on site, I may bring this box. When I’m back in what I laughingly call my studio, I'll continue to use my soft box and external lights.

As the title says, the photo subject light box isn't built professionally. It seems the use of that word is out of hand by foreign manufacturers on Amazon these days. One look at the first photo shows how badly the defuser is drooping, even after I rolled up each side as much as possible. The box assembles quickly. It comes with different backgrounds, which is helpful. The left and right sides are reflective and quite effective at removing side shadows. The light is dimmable, so that's a plus.Overall, the box is usable by professional photographers that know what they are doing. I included another photo of the manual just sitting up there leaning on the backside to show that it indeed does work well- even with the drooping defuser there was no shaddowing. My issue with that is it's in the way of my camera when doing a photo shoot from above. I'll need to figure out how I'm going to fix the droop. Shame really.Overall, I'm on the fence about this product. If it wasn't for the defective defuser, it would pass as a beginner subject box. As is, it needs work.
