Red lay flat PVC discharge hose with cam & groove quick connect fittings is rated for light to medium duty. This hose is designed to be used in lower range water pressure situations having a maximum pressure of 150 psi. This pump discharge hose is constructed from blue PVC and reinforced by polyester yarn. Popular hose for general outdoor low pressure discharge applications. Not intended for indoor use, firefighting or closed pressure applications such as use with nozzles.

The end fitting are held in place with a crimp style clamp and were o installed tight enough so water leaks out between the hose and fitting. Overall looks like a good product just needs better quality control in the clamps.

Wish the seller was more transparent that this hose CAN'T be used with a nozzle, pressure or on a fire - especially with a company name "FireHoseDirect". It's basically just for draining water.You won't know there's a 15% ($26.30) restocking fee until you're required to print a label, box and take it to UPS. Luckily I did not use the hose and wasn't charged restocking.

nice and good price especially since the ends themselves would be 20 bucks for the pair, but the clamp allowed leakage on one end...must have been a defective one, contacted the company and they made it right
