Finally, candles that do not make my head heavy and eyes water. These are great, I have the Rose Petals scented ones and they are wonderful. The aroma is delightful and not overly strong. I hope the makers do not change the formula or ingredients. These candles are perfect.

The smell without burning is reminiscent of baby’s milk or baby oil to me. Its not a strong lavender scent like I wanted, but its still calming and pleasant. Will have to keep looking for a candle that has a good lavender smell.The candle smell is decently strong, filling a whole room, although the scent can be a bit subtle. It burns brightly and so far seems to be staying lit for a while. Im not sure how long it will last, but it’s doing well so far.The pack is extremely tiny, although understandable since they are only tea lights.EDIT: After burning it for a while and smelling it, I can definitely smell some lavender, but it’s still not a very strong lavender scent. Still very pleasant to smell though!

Love the strong, beautiful scent! I keep buying them in a variety of fragrances. Even though the fragrance is strong, I do not get headaches from it being over powering.

These candles smell terrific! Just like lilacs (one of my favorite flowers). They last 8 hours for sure which is great for the evening time because we have these set up in our entryway candle sconces - you walk in and it gives off light in a dark entryway at night (the light switch is only at the end of the hall) and the aroma greets you as well. The only downside to these is the additional strong scent of the actual candle wax. If these candles used a wax that wasn't scented like wax, then I'd repurchase these in a heartbeat. But that scent takes over the house and it's a strong wax with lilac smell, unfortunately. It's overpowering at times. Scented candles, I read, are better to be used with coconut wax as that wax is unscented when lit.

I use these tea lights as prayer candles, or just relaxing in the tub. I usually have candles burning most of time, not just for the ambience, but for the fresh scents, as I’m a highly sensory person. I just lit one so far, and you can smell it thru the entire room and kitchen. I’ve always been partial to a true jasmine scent, since my grandma’s house was lined with jasmine vines, and bushes. When they were in full bloom, I would sit in the middle of them inhaling their fragrance. These tea lights come very close, with a rich sweet top note, floral authenticity. I can’t wait to try the gardenia, honeysuckle, and plumeria. I highly recommend ‘Shortie's Candle Company’ for their excellent quality, non-toxic ‘clean’ wick, 5 ½ hr. burn time, and the use of natural essential oils. Very pleased I found this company on amazon! It’s very convenient (with a busy schedule) having them delivered.

They smell SO good, and they really make the room smell nice as well. I rather pay a flat $10 on them though and not have to pay shipping. I just find with that shipping price it almost makes them not worth it, especially for only getting 6 candles! They smell so good, I burn through them too quick.
