I couldn't be happier with these wine filter wands! I suffer with pretty severe migraines. During Covid I noticed every weekend I was getting them for days at a time. Finally made the connection that I was drinking more wine on the weekends than I did before and that must be the trigger. I wasn't happy to cut it out of my diet but you do what you've got to do. About a year later a friend with the same problem recommended them to me. And boy do they work like a charm! I now recommend them to everyone. I'm not a big drinker but I do love wine so these have been worth every penny to be able to enjoy it again without worry.

No more headaches or rashes do to the sulfates. A bit pricey but when going out to dinner and you like wine with dinner these are my go to.

I have migraines that are triggered by red wine, but I love the taste. These are so helpful in allowing me to drink an occasional glass or 2. Highly recommend!

These do seem to work but they also do change the taste of the wine, which may not be a bad thing depending on what you like. I used them with a fairly young, tannin-forward Cabernet. I used it in my glass but not in my husband's glass, then took a sip of each. My glass of wine was mellower and softer, with very little tannin left.Each wand will only treat one glass of wine, making them very expensive to use. Ignore the directions that instruct you to break off the decorative end as it has nothing to do with using the wand to filter your wine.

I have eczema flare ups after drinking wine so I thought these wands would help. Nope. I left the wand in glass of wine for longer than the recommended 3 minutes and these didn't work for me. I tried different wines and still no improvement. But these wands not only not helped my hands, but they also gave me headache and higher blood pressure. Normally, the first sip of wine would cause me to relax, a very lovely feeling of warmth and pleasantness. I never got any serious flush. This time I got red burning flush on my face and the redness lingered for long time. Not only I didn't feel any relaxation or warmth, besides the burning face I developed a headache. I had 2 glasses of wine only and the headache lingered until the next day. I tried again few days later different wine and again, flush, headache and this time I checked my blood pressure, and it was high. Wine normally lowers my blood pressure, sometimes very low so I can't have more than 2 glasses. Anyway, the following day my eczema flared up anyway. There is a possibility that histamines and sulfites do not cause problems for me. It could be acetaldehyde. I have more wands left so I will continue to try them and see. I am still giving 5 stars because the product may not be the problem here.

I have been blown away with these sticks.I haven’t been able to drink alcohol for a couple of years now as I’m allergic to sulphites.I was very nervous to use these, as a few mouthfuls of wine and I’m extremely poorly. Especially as they state they remove UP TO 95% of sulphites and histamines.But, I have to say, to my surprise, I can now enjoy a whole glass of wine without getting poorly.They do state red or white wine, but I have used them in rosé and I’ve been absolutely fine.They are a game changer.For anyone suffering with a sulphites allergy, I 100% recommend these.
