I have come to value this tool. I work on machines that have nylon air lines that are fitted into push lock fittings and these pliers really do help. I find that when I use them, the push lock ring is pushed in more evenly allowing the hose to release better so the barbs in the fitting don't bend out of place and rake the nylon or cause the hose to kink. Preventing further breakage certainly makes my job easier. The tool is pretty straight forward, select the size pliers, wipe off line, fit into jaws and use the tool separating the line from the fitting, clean tool and store. Pretty easy.

I finished the job working on my classic car’s air suspension. I’m using an Accuair system with a VU4 manifold and needed to swap out the elbow fittings on the block. Space was tight, and I struggled to press the release on the pneumatic lines. Frustrated, I figured there had to be a tool to simplify it. Found one, and it worked perfectly in a single try!

These are really handy when you have an air line fitting that you can barely get to, and can't really get two hands in there on it. But, 6mm air lines slip through the grippers. So i cut ~3/4" long pieces of tubing and slid them on the grippers, and now they work. Easy fix. They're small enough to get in tight places.

I work in die maintenance and these pliers will not grip any air line I use. I’ve tried on different sizes and no luck. Better off using needle nose pliers and pulling the line by hand

It did not make the job any easier, I'd say it makes it even more complicated. It couldn't handle a John Guest quick connect with a Sioux Chef Tubing (Menards)

I was a bit sceptical about these after reading some of the reviews. I regularly have to disconnect push fit fittings for work so worth a shot.They do work brilliantly on 8mm, but do sometimes struggle a bit to grip the softer 6mm tubing.I have added some rubber edge strip to the gripping part of the toll which has improved them a lot.

Professionelles Werkzeug um die gängigen Steckverbinder für Pneu-Schläuche zu lösen, danach habe ich lange gesucht, hergestellt in China (wo sonst), geliefert über Amazon US und hier angekommen, wo es gebraucht wird (hat einige Tausend Kilometer auf der Uhr), sauber verarbeitet, und tut genau, was es soll!
