Gauge is plenty for a run to each speaker in the car. It looks good, not crazy "show car" but, looks beefy enough to be respectable. It is a good price and i measure it to be sure, it really was correct footage. Works Good.

I bought this wire to run my surround sound and it worked perfectly. It's a little hard to bend around sharp corners but it worked fine. One of the wires has a red line on it which helps a lot to not get them confused. All and all a great product that worked out great.

Perfect for my application (wiring up 5.1 A/V system in the living room); flexible, easy to route around corners, very well-insulated without being 'stiff'. The system sounds great... 14 gauge seems to the right size for home theatre speakers, as 12 gauge wire is a little over-sized for the intended application. Replace that cheap-o factory supplied wire with the good stuff; your ears will thank you!

Well I got what I paid for, but this is not high quality. This is lamp cord (aluminum wire that's platted with copper) It was 14GA so I gave it 2 stars. Don't get me wrong it works as speaker wire but it is not copper inside. This is obvious when you cut the wire and look at the end. If you are ok with your music traveling on the thin platting of copper over the aluminum then this will be fine. However if you are pushing 50 to 100 watts and want the best sound, then go to Home Depot and buy the 14GA by the foot @ .70 cents a foot or just invest in the $45. roll of 14GA 100' real copper speaker wire. Just go and feel how heavy the 14GA by the foot is and you will see what I am talking about.

I ordered 2 - 100 ft rolls of 14 ga copper speaker wire. I recieved 250 ft roll of aluminum clad copper wire. Returned immediately due to deceptive description. DO NOT BUY

This a an excellent wire and I am satisfied with the product. aluminum wire that's platted with copper? may be for this price, but works perfect with my Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers.

It's speaker wire, what else is there to say? Maybe I'll post an update in a year or so and tell you how it handles temperature and humidity changes.Update, February 2021. I've had the wire for 6 years, the insulation is still supple and the exposed ends show only the slightest oxidation.

Decent cable, but the thickness of the insulation varies a lot, so stripping it can be a time consuming task. Works fine, though.

Foe the price this product is of excellent quality, totally worth it. I would recommend this product to anyone in need of a 14 Guage speaker wire.
